The Boleyn Trust Teaching School Alliance
Schools within our Alliance share a common teaching school development plan. The plan is designed to ensure that we focus our support to improve the skills and work of all teachers within our Alliance schools and to help and support cold spots identified in the local area.
This will prepare our teachers for upskilling colleagues to take on roles in subject leadership, delegation, accountability and standards. This will also ensure succession planning for future heads and deputies in the Alliance schools. Our Alliance will be open to offers of requested support from local authorities and beyond, requiring high quality CPD for schools.
The strength and capacity of our Alliance allows us the opportunity to offer a comprehensive and detailed offer of bespoke support. All members of the Boleyn Teaching School Alliance will be active in promoting the high expectations and standards as driven by our vision and action plan.
Our Alliance has appointed a senior member of staff to support the strategic day to day needs of the services delivered by the Alliance. This post is financed through income generated by the Alliance.
Our Alliance will be able to develop courses with universities that will be accredited to post graduate and Masters Programmes to further teachers skills and competencies.
Our Alliance will be able to offer a bespoke programme of support for NQT Induction and respond to individual or collective requests from Local Authorities, as well as being the Appropriate Body for ensuring that schools provide adequate support for their NQTs and that their assessment is fair and consistent.
